We kick started the month with an Easter fun quiz on 3rd April.
Our very own Chairperson, Richard Illingworth, was quizmaster and certainly put us through our paces!
With some 10 teams in attendance it didn't go unnoticed that help was on hand with the arrival of some greyhounds who are already enjoying a life of retirement. They were very laid back and all that was missing was the proverbial sofa!
Our thanks to Ladbrokes Coral for the top raffle prize of a signed champions dartboard along with a letter of authentication. Over £250 was raised at this event so a huge thanks to everyone who came along and supported us plus congratulations to the winners!.
Easter Raffle Update
On Saturdays 13th and 20th of April we were at the track selling tickets for an array of prizes, but mainly some lovely huge chocolate eggs.....
We managed to raise an amazing £580 and as always all proceeds go directly to our lovely hounds and homing centres. Of course none of this could happen without the help from Mandee, Richard (both pictured below), Malcolm and Darren.
